I’m just going to cut to the chase here: This is early access and the game is fairly simple. It’s also in a genre where if I name dropped vampire survivor you’d immediately know what you are going to play. So with that out of the way…
It’s fun. Net Hack, currently available on Steam, is essentially vampire survivors but you get to build your load out using “nodes” basically your power and attacks are determined by resource management puzzles as you fill a grid with said nodes. You also will attack until you are forced to escape to the next wave as things get incredibly hectic once the portal opens. Other than that ya it’s what you already know and love both in game play and visuals. That’s not a bad thing either I think.

I really wish there was more to say. The only drawback is I wish things could feel more “chaotic” like more enemies, bigger number chasing. I dunno. It’s hard to quantify cause it’s doing a good job and hitting all the right notes, I guess I’m just used to the forced by design dopamine rush of other games in this genre.
Still… I’d buy it if you like these kinda games. It is fun.
