Nintendo’s E3 Plans Are Out!

by on May 11, 2017

Nintendo of America just tweeted out their plans for this year’s E3 conference, and we couldn’t be more excited! Nintendo’s presentation will consist of three main parts: Nintendo Spotlight, Nintendo Treehouse, and some live tournaments.

Nintendo Spotlight will be taking place on June 13th at 9am PT. It will be a showcase of Nintendo Switch games that are set to release in 2017. It looks like Super Mario Odyssey will be very much a part of this, and hopefully we will be getting more details as far as release date. I am also hoping to see a release date for Yooka Laylee! Fingers crossed…

Immediately after the Nintendo Spotlight, the Nintendo Treehouse members and developers will show us lots of actual gameplay from various Nintendo Switch and 3DS games. Although I am purely speculating here, I’m assuming we will be seeing lots of gameplay from Super Mario Odyssey. I’m curious to see what other games they end up showing off as well, and if we get any surprise releases like last year!

Throughout June 13 and 14, Nintendo will also be holding a couple of tournaments: the 2017 Splatoon 2 Inkling Invitational, and the 2017 Arms Open Invitational. Each of these will be happening live at Nintendo’s E3 booth, and should be a blast to watch!

What do you think? Are you as stoked as we are to watch Nintendo at E3 this year? What game are you hoping to see in the Nintendo Spotlight? Let us know in the comments below!
