Stardew Valley Collector’s Edition Now Available!

by on April 11, 2017

We have some great news for fans of the mega popular farming RPG Stardew Valley!  Stardew Valley, which has earned rave reviews from gamers and has sold over two million copies on Steam, has finally arrived on consoles.  Today, you can purchase Stardew Valley Collector’s Edition at your local retailer for Xbox One or Playstation 4 for $29.99!  Fans in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, the Netherlands and Scandinavia will be able to purchase on April 13.

The Collector’s Edition comes with a lot of great goodies –

  • The full Stardew Valley game
  • A disc containing the Collector’s Edition Soundtrack featuring 33 hand-picked tracks
  • Exclusive Full Printed Map of Stardew Valley
  • A Mini-Guidebook created by the artist and author of the full guidebook, Kari Fry

In the press release, Molly Carroll (Marketing Manager at Chucklefish) said the following: “It’s been incredible to watch such a fantastic and supportive community form around Stardew Valley – this charming country life RPG created by a solo developer has now sold over two million copies and received over 50,000 positive player reviews.  We’re very excited to help bring Stardew Valley to even more gamers worldwide with the retail release of Stardew Valley Collector’s Edition.”

For those of you who are unfamiliar, Stardew Valley lets you take control of a rickety farm where you’ll raise livestock, plant crops, mine for ores and expand the farm while maneuvering through social activities to bring success back to Stardew Valley.  A good friend asked me in an email if I have literally been dreamin’ of living of the fat of the land (admittedly, that sound really nice right now).  If you have ever dreamed of a life on the farm, now is your chance to live it in a super fun farming RPG!

We will bring you a review of Stardew Valley Collector’s Edition as soon as possible.  In the meantime, let us know if you have tried the game on Steam or if you are excited to try it on consoles!
