Sniper Elite 4 DLC Incoming

by on March 17, 2017

Sniper Elite 4 was released last Valentine’s Day to rave reviews, especially from us.  It was announced today that the first DLC for Sniper Elite 4 will be released next Tuesday, March 21st for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC!

Deathstorm is a brand new mini campaign with the first part, Inception, releasing on Tuesday.  Inception is playable from start to finish for 1-2 players. From the press release –

“Set after the events of the main game, the first chapter takes players to the colder terrain of northern Italy, and a Nazi naval base recently targeted in a bombing run.  With imposing scaffolding, a German destroyer and myriad Kriegsmarine soldiers to negotiate, Karl Fairburne must help finish what the bombing run started. But his primary mission concerns the secret Manhattan Project: To retrieve a critical, mysterious package codenamed Deathstorm…”

If this mini campaign is anything like the regular game, then we are in for a treat!  But Inception is not the only thing coming on Tuesday.  Rebellion is also releasing the Night Fighter Expansion pack, which includes three new weapons, night time camo skins for eight weapons, plus new mail and female character skins.

There will also be free content for multiplayer fans.  A brand new mode called Elimination will be free on the 21st.  It is a two team mode for up to 12 players.  Players who are killed must sit out the match.  If your teammate is killed, then the only way to get your teammate back is to kill another player.  Sounds like a mode that will offer a lot of back and forth action with finishes coming down to the wire.  A free multiplayer map called Night Woods will also be available.  And remember, all additional multiplayer maps and modes will be free!

If you have not checked out Sniper Elite 4, then do yourself a favor and pick it up.  In the meantime, check out some screenshots from Inception and let us know if you plan on jumping back into Sniper Elite 4!
