No Man’s Sky…

What can we say about No Man’s Sky? The game that was a complete failure? The game that over promised and under delivered?  Almost 3 years ago exactly in 2016, No Man’s Sky was released and promised the world of games some pretty amazing things. On release day, people realized that was not necessarily a lie, but maybe more of a pipe dream promise that couldn’t deliver.

Over the years with all the attacks that Hello Games and Sean Murray have received, there has been a huge community that has stuck by them praising them for their work, and its those folks that stuck around that helped No Man’s Sky grow to what it is today.

No Man’s Sky NEXT…

Fast forward 3 years later to today, they have stood by their word to make No Man’s Sky what it should be. Through now which will be a total of 4 Major FREE updates, we have arrived at the No Man’s Sky NEXT update. According to Sean Murray, “We called our upcoming update “NEXT”, because it’s an important next step on a longer journey for us and the community. It will be our biggest update so far, and something we’ve been working ridiculously hard on. This will be free to existing players, and we’ll continue to support No Man’s Sky in this way for the foreseeable future”.

The NEXT update shows some major additions with Multiplayer which include Dogfighting, Race Exocraft, Building Colonies, Trading, and working together to fight and survive this vast galaxy. Also with the NEXT update, you can team up with a small team of friends and explore the universe together, or be joined by random travelers.

Xbox One and WeGame…

With the hype train going again with this most recent update, they have also announced that No Man’s Sky will be available on the Xbox One platform today July 24th, 2018. According to a press release on March, 29th, 2018 “The Xbox version will come with Foundation, Pathfinder, Atlas Rises and NEXT from day-one, in 4K and HDR for Xbox One X. We are also bringing No Man’s Sky to WeGame, the Tencent Chinese platform. Since Atlas Rises, China is now our second biggest region for players, and we are delighted to be able to support our Chinese players further”.
