On Friday, Compulsion Games announced a preview for a big update coming soon to We Happy Few! This preview is available on PC and can be accessed by changing to the preview branch on Steam (you can find it after right-clicking on We Happy Few, clicking on properties, then selecting the betas tab, then clicking on preview).
The list of changes is very large, but sound like good steps in the right direction for We Happy Few. One of the big changes comes to the survival aspect of the game. This update will feature an increase in the amount of time it takes to deplete your Hunger, Thirst, and Sleep. Some may be worried that this will make the game too easy. However, according to the forum post, it looks like the team is making this update in preparation for the addition of difficulty settings in the game. Another welcome addition with this update is the addition of active quest tracking and creating waypoints on your map. This will be a huge help when navigating the world of We Happy Few.
The team has updated many of the encounters, visuals, and audio, so make sure to check the full list on their forum HERE. Once the update has been tested, it will be available on Xbox One. Don’t forget to use the forums HERE and let the developers know of any questions/concerns.
Keep it locked on GameOctane for more updates on We Happy Few! Also, make sure to keep an eye out for our thoughts so far on the preview build of We Happy Few!
