New Keyart for Far Cry 5

by on May 24, 2017

We are eagerly anticipating the release of the first trailer for Far Cry 5 on Friday, May 26th at 6am PST.  In the meantime, Ubisoft released the first key art for you to examine –

As you can see, it is very similar to Far Cry 4’s poster.  The scene is obviously reminiscent of the Last Supper, with the main antagonist surrounded by family or followers.  The man with the ‘sinner’ cut into him shows us that Far Cry 5 may feature a more religious symbols and story.  There are quite a few things in the background to ponder as well, including the airplanes and the explosion an an encampment.

We will know more info on Friday!  Make sure to tune into their Youtube page on Friday to see the trailer!  We will bring you any updates and thoughts on the trailer as soon as it is released.

What do you think of the first poster?  Let us know in the comments below!

There is too much to gather from this image. I love the idea of some fringe religious/anarchist cult. Their religious symbol, replacing the stars on the American flag and their flag posted above it, in the background, looks to either be a revolt against the U.S. government or a post-apocalyptic establishment. Either way, I’m intrigued.
