When I saw Genesis: Alpha One at E3 2017, I was blown away by the scope of the game. Imagine a game that blends rogue-like, first-person shooter, base building, and survival elements. Now place it in the vast openness of space, and you get Genesis: Alpha One. Today, a new trailer was released that shows these elements, plus a new addition to the Genesis: Alpha One gameplay. Check it out!
Towards the end of the trailer, we got a glimpse of planet exploration! In Genesis: Alpha One, you will have the chance to explore a variety of planets with a variety of resources to mine. You will also find artifacts, new weapons, blueprints, and transmissions to decode. Of course, planet exploration won’t be a walk in the park. You will most likely need to protect your crew from hostile aliens. And in case you didn’t know, you can take DNA from alien lifeforms, and use it to clone new kinds of crew members!
I’m really excited for Genesis: Alpha One, and luckily, we don’t need to wait long for the launch. Genesis: Alpha One will launch this summer on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
