Monster Hunter will be coming to the Nintendo Switch!

by on May 26, 2017

Monsters Hunter fans can breathe a sigh of relief. Monster Hunter Double Cross will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. Today is was confirmed by the Official Capcom Double Cross twitter. After much speculation, Monster Hunter fans have a confirmation.Monster Hunter will be hitting store shelves soon in Japan. More Details, like release date, will be coming this Saturday, the 27th, from the Monster Hunter Championship 2017. Sadly no word on an English version yet, but as long time fans can confirm, the west usually gets the game just months after the game launches in Japan. Monster Hunter’s last title Generations came to our shores just eight months after exploding in Japan. Hopefully with the meteoric rise of the Switch, Capcom will try to cash in and get Double Cross to the West as soon as possible.

Super stoked for this game. There hasn’t been a Monster Hunter home console release in a very long time.

I’ve been waiting for another home console Monster Hunter title for quite some time. The last time we saw it on home console, it was hidden in side quests for Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker, in the MGS HD bundle for PS3 and 360. I’m not sure if that even counts.
