Kicking It with Kickstarter – Week Ending 7/22

by on July 20, 2016

Can I kick it?  YES YOU CAN!!!!

We are back with another edition of Kicking It with Kickstarter.  Kickstarter is an amazing tool to help men and women get their projects off the ground and want to highlight interesting gaming projects that are live on Kickstarter.  As always, if you know of any interesting projects, let us know in the comments or on social media.  Without further ado, here are this week’s projects that you can support –

Prey for the Gods

Prey for the Gods is an action/survival game from No Matter Studios.  You are in a frozen land and must survive against the elements and giant enemies.  The game also features dungeons to explore and loot.  According to the page, the gameplay features of combination of elements that you see in Shadow of the Colossus, Deus Ex, DayZ, and BloodBorne.  The look and music in this game look beautiful and I am really intrigued by the survival aspects as well as the fights against these huge monsters.  The game is close to it’s goal with 16 days left.  If you want to see more, click on their Kickstarter page HERE.

Underworld Dungeon

Underground Dungeon is a really interesting 2D game from Inferno Soul.  This action/adventure games has you exploring a Greek dungeon.  You have the ability to find items to craft and improve your weapons and armor.  Not only do you have challenging combat and gameplay, but the game will feature procedural generation, so the dungeon will be randomly generated every time you start a game.  There are 25 days to go for this project and you can check out more information HERE.

ALPHA Portable Gaming Table

I love table top games, and Firmer Terra LLC has created a portable table to take with you when you game!  It’s fairly lightweight and can be stored in a small space (48″x18″x7″ to be exact).  When it is set up, it is a 4×6 surface and offers plenty of room for table top gaming. If you are interested, check out their page HERE.  There are 23 days left in the project.

See you all next week with more Kickstarter projects!!
