Kick It with Kickstarter – Week Ending 7/8

by on July 6, 2016

Can I kick it???  YES YOU CAN!!!

We are back with another installment of Kick It with Kickstarter!!  I browse through Kickstarter and highlight some interesting projects!  Without further ado, here are this week’s projects –

Creative Differences: The Video Game Development Card Game

I don’t know about you, but the video game development process is fascinating to me.  So why not make it into a fun card game?  In the game, you play a studio who needs to hire the best talent possible and develop a game.  Players then push ideas from their hired employees to develop a game.  It looks really fun to play and easy to learn/set up.  There are incentives for backing this project, including the chance to be added to the game as a character!!!  There are 20 available spots left for this perk, so you will need to hurry and pledge before it is too late.  There are 28 days to back this project.  Click HERE for more details!  Big thanks to George Morgan (@Just_Ge0) for tweeting about this project!

Survive the West

This project is from Pylon Animations and looks really fun.  You start the game with very few supplies and must do what the title says – survive the west!  The game is an isometric voxel sandbox game.  Characters must survive by finding food and shelter while watching out for bandits, natural disasters, and predators!  I love a good western game, so this looks very interesting.  Click HERE for more information!  If you want to back it, you need to act quickly – there are only 4 more days to fund it!

Black Market Bonanza!

If any of you have ever played a table top RPG, then you may have tried to find a Black Market, the place to buy or barter for hard to get items.  This card game from Mike Limatoc looks to put you in the roll of a Black Market Merchant.  Your goal is simple – get that money in any way possible!  You can sell items and use abilities to take out the competition and be the best Back Market Merchant in the world.  This game looks like a lot of fun, especially if played with other fans of the genre.  Check out more details HERE.

That’s it for this week!  I will be back next week with more projects to showcase.  If you know a project that you want to see featured in this article, please let us know in the comments below!!
