The weekend is almost upon us. One champion to be crowned and given a grand prize of $1 Million Dollars. Some repeat teams from previous years will be battling it out to repeat their championship win from last year or knock out their competition like Team EnVyUs who took 2nd place in 2017 and is looking to not only better themselves but provide their fans with a successful total domination.
The amazing thing about esports, is that it is not just a national focus but an international focus as well. According to the Official Halo Championship Page “there are international stand-outs like Team Infused (EU) and Mindfreak (ANZ), whose qualifying performances should be a warning to anyone tempted to overlook them due to regionality”.
This year is also looking to be the most attended event in Halo Championship Sports Ever! Everyone has their favorite teams whether it is based on strategy, gameplay style, or integrity and passion for the world of esports and Halo, there can only be one winner and that winner will be $1 Million dollars richer.
