Fallout 76 Beta Arrives This October

by on September 27, 2018

We finally have a release date for the highly anticipated Fallout 76 beta!  With the full game launching Nov. 14th, I have been very curious as to when the beta will arrive.  Today, Bethesda announced that the beta will arrive on Xbox One on October 23rd.  The beta will be available on Playstation 4 and PC one week later, on October 30th.

In an article on the Bethesda website, the team explains that the purpose of the beta is to cause some stress on the servers.  That means the servers won’t be available 24/7.  Instead, the team will open windows of opportunity to get as many players as possible and see how the servers handle it.  This will occur frequently until a few days before launch.  It’s encouraged that you follow Bethesda’s social media sites so you know exactly when the servers will be open during the beta.

It was also announced that you are free to stream and talk about your beta experiences.  And, as always, make sure to give constructive feedback to the development team during the beta!

Are you ready to hit the country roads of West Virginia with your friends?  Let us know in the comments!

While you wait for the beta, enjoy the opening intro that was released today!
