Nintendo Switch owners will have to wait a little while longer to adventure in Lordran. Dark Souls Remastered has been officially delayed until Summer 2018. What that means exactly is up to debate, as company use seasons as generic place holders.
This news came to us from the official Dark Souls Twitter account. PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 4 release will not be effect and will hit store shelves on the 25th of May.
Due to the nature of causality, we must announce that the Nintendo Switch version of #DarkSoulsRemastered will be pushed back to summer of 2018, and with it, the release of the Solaire of Astora amiibo.
PC/PS4/X1 versions will maintain their May 25th release date.

Personally I am ok with this. I can’t wait to take one of my favorite games with me on the switch, but I guess I will have to. I’d rather get good ports than rushed and broken ones. I’m glad they will take time and put the work in to make the game run well on the Switch.
Let us know if you too will be down for some jolly cooperation this summer with your Switch! And look forward to our stream Dark Souls when it launches on the 25th over at Twitch.tv/Gameoctane
