Can I Kick It???  Yes, you can!!!
Welcome, everyone, to another addition of Kicking It with Kickstarter!!  I am excited to bring you some more interesting projects that you can support on Kickstarter.  Game development can be a long and expensive process.  Every little bit can help someone realize their dream and create a project that the world can enjoy.  Plus, you get awesome rewards!  Let’s get right to it and look at some interesting projects.

Vulpine: Be a Fox with a Sword

Clockwork Giant Games has created an open world game featuring animals.  But not just any animal – it featured heavily armed animals.  And good thing they are armed.  Vulpine contains dangerous monsters and dungeons that require you to be armed and ready for battle.  Vulpine features small, medium, and large-sized animals.  You can use a spear, sword, or hammer with any animal.  However, a weapon’s speed and damage is affected by the animal you choose.  You can play alone or with a group (up to 32+ players).  Vulpine also features a building system where you can build a place for you to store items and sleep.  I really like the concept and art design.  And the possibility of exploring and playing with up to 32 people!  The project has 35 days left.  Click HERE to learn more!

Sharknado: The Board Game

You have seen the movies.  Now play the board game with your family and friends!!  Devious Devices has taken everything you love about Sharknado and put it in a board game for 2-4 players.  You will cooperate with other players as you face different situations like defeating the Boss Shark or just surviving as long as you can.  The project has 24 days left and almost halfway to it’s goal.  Click HERE to check out the rewards, game design, and stretch goals!

Space Geekz: The Crunchy Flakes Conspiracy

We were pleased to receive an email from Marcel, who contacted us from Germany (Vielen Dank fur die Email, Marcel!!!)  He wanted to let us know about a point and click adventure game that he is developing called Space Geekz:  The Crunchy Flakes Conspiracy (he did confirm that this is the actual title).  The project has already met its goal and has 32 days to meet stretch goals.  Way to go, Marcel!  The game looks like it comes straight from the 90’s with pixilated graphics and humorous situations involving conspiracies, cannibals, radioactive crunchy flakes, and of course, lots of pointing and clicking.  Click HERE to check out his project!

Storytime:  A Little Art Book

I’m sure most of you remember reading the Little Golden Book series when you were little.  These iconic books were an important part of the lives of millions of children and undoubtedly inspired artist Joey Spiotto.  Since 2013, Joey has used pop culture to make wonderful pieces of art that would fit perfectly on a children’s book.  Now, Joey is looking for support as he puts all of the art from this series in one collection.  The book will be soft cover and include semi gloss pages (hardcover books will be available if the stretch goal is met).  The art is incredible, and you get a ton of it in this collection.  Click HERE to check out the project.  There are 29 days left, so don’t delay if you want to support Joey and help him get his art book published!

If you want to see a project featured in Kicking It with Kickstarter, let us know in the comments below or on social media!  I will see you next week with more projects from Kickstarter!

Hi there! Sharknado: The Board Game! Creator here. Thanks for sharing our campaign.

We’re really excited about the reception for the game so far, and the backers are really active, helping us add new content to the final game, even before we are funded through feedback and community goals.

Let us know if you have any questions about the game or campaign!
